One day it's too late !
"One day ... - well, I do not think about it yet."
For each of us, this day will come -
but no one knows how suddenly !
And then what ?
Every man, even you, is only one breath away from eternity,
a heart attack or an accident !
We must be aware of this -
we must never forget it !
"Heaven and hell are real (they exist).
But where will you spend eternity ?"
I would like to start the serious topic with a little joke:
In the hospital, a nurse pushes a man in a wheelchair through the long
aisles, who finally asks him: "Where is the journey really going ?"
The answer of the nurse: "To the pathology."
"To the pathology? The dead are brought there, but as you can see, I am not dead yet."
The nurse then replied: "True - but we are not there yet."
Yes, people are often (without them being aware)
on the last section of their path of life, regardless
how old, young, sick or healthy they feel right now.
The end can occur at any time and all of a sudden.
Are you prepared for this - well prepared ?
Is generating time pressure serious or dubious ?
Answer: It depends on who pushes the pace.
If, for example, a salesman, a bank consultant or an insurance agent sets
a customer under time pressure, then there is usually a "catch" to it.
By the artificially generated time pressure, the impression should be conveyed,
that this would be a one-of-a-kind deal.
This is untrustworthy because only a quick signature is desired,
or a hasty purchase decision.
But if an emergency doctor pushes the pace, drives the rescue vehicle with warning light and siren
to the hospital - and urges an immediate operation, then this is
in no way dubious - but saving - life-saving.
And what if Jesus Christ "pushes the pace"?
Is that serious or untrustworthy ?
Jesus is not a "hunter of souls".
He wants us to come to him voluntarily.
But he knows very well that we humans are all
just a breath away from eternity.
In the old children's song "Guten Abend, gute Nacht" (german) it says:
"Tomorrow morning, if God will, you will be awakened again."
The emphasis is on "if".
Many people fear this - but it is the reality.
We can not and should not suppress this. That would be as if
the emergency doctor would switch off the blue light on the rescue vehicle and
first of all, make his lunch break,
while the patient is in a life-threatening condition.
Jesus Christ urges us consciously to hurry, for he knows it
can easily happen that God drops a man.
Please refer to the cleartext points 044 and 060 for how fast it can happen,
that God lets people fall, without them being aware.
There are two junctures which make a change in our lives and behaviour impossible.
The one is our personal death, which can "knock at the door" at any time and very suddenly.
And the other time is the return of the Lord Jesus Christ to this earth.
Jesus told us that this will happen all of a sudden
and that we should be prepared for it at any time.
Jesus Christ warns us very often, that we don´t know how much time we still have !
"Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come."
"Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think (when you do not suppose, so suddenly) not the Son of man (Jesus Christ) cometh."
(Matthew 24/44 and Luke 12/40)
"Watch therefore (be alert), for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh."
"Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is."
(No one knows when Jesus will come back.)
"And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch."
"But the day of the Lord will come (that suddenly) as a thief in the night ..."
(2 Peter 3/10)
"For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night."
(1 Thessalonians 5/2)
Jesus says to the date of the Last Day (that is, about his return to the earth):
"Behold, I come as a thief (without notice). Blessed is he that watcheth ..."
This day will burst over us all of a sudden.
Against this, Jesus Christ warns us with the following words:
"But as the days of Noe were (before the flood),
so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
(upon the return of Jesus Christ to this earth)
For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage (they lived their everyday life), until the day that Noe entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away;
so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
(when Jesus Christ returns to the earth)"
Furthermore, Jesus says:
"Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded (they also lived their everyday life); But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed
(when Jesus Christ returns to the earth)."
Jesus warns us to enjoy only life -
but not to prepare for the last day.
"And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness ..."
Please also read the cleartext point 100. It bears the title:
Can eating and drinking be a sin ?
Whether it is the day when Jesus Christ will return to this earth
to hold the Last Judgment - or whether it is your personal day of death - from this point is drawn the end of your life, finally and invariably. From this moment on, you cannot change or regret anything.
So always remember: You don´t know how much time the Lord still leaves you !
Therefore, don´t postpone the change of your life until the "Greek Kalends", but instead make the necessary changes immediately - not tomorrow, but today, for you, do not know whether the Lord has provided a tomorrow for you.
If you want to become a perpetrator of the word - then do it immediately.
If you want to apologise to someone, do it immediately.
If you want to help the needy in the third world, because next week many of these suffering people have already died.
You could have prevented this !
If you want to help to spread God's word, by using the Google AdWords advertising (See call for donations at the end of this cleartext point), then please send me an e-mail as soon as possible, because if all homepage readers would say:
"I'll do it soon." - then I could not do this important work because without the help of the readers I can not achieve anything.
In the bible is written:
"And now why tarriest thou?"
I would like to add a cause for thought at this point.
The Lord has blessed us rich (yes, we are the rich) with all the gifts we need for life. He even gave us that much, that we are able to give something to those, who have to hunger and thirst in the third world.
We are God's servants, who have to take care that our fellow servants (of God) have enough to live.
Instead, many who call themselves "Christians", "beat"
their fellow servants.
What I mean by this is clear from the following parable.
"Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?"
You are in Jesus' eyes either the faithful servant, if you share your income with those who have nothing (with the needy in the third world) or you are the unfaithful servant who "beats" his "fellow servant" and is therefore rejected by the Lord on the Day of Judgment.
Regarding his faithful servants, Jesus Christ says:
"Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing."
Whoever behaves this way will be blessed by the Lord on the last day
and may live together with him in paradise for eternity.
Then there are the other "kind" of servants who do not fulfil Jesus' mission, but instead fill their bellies with the gifts of the Lord themselves and celebrate - as if they would possess all that the Lord gave them. But they received it, in order to be able to provide for their fellow servants. Only they don´t do it, but rather squander everything just for themselves - according to the motto:
"I deserved it - that is mine."
"But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; ("I can donate something to the needy sometime later. I have plenty of time to do that later.") And shall begin to smite his fellowservants (he does not care, if his "fellow servants," the needy in the third world, literally perish), and to eat and drink with the drunken (he loves celebrating, "nurtures" his belly and spends his whole income for the satisfaction of his needs); The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of, And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth."
So what do I mean by saying that many people who call themselves "Christians", "beat" their "fellow servants" ?
They are not willing to give up some pleasures, to help with the savings those, who without our help, must die of hunger and starvation in the dust of the third world.
Their own well-being is more important to them than the well-being
(the chance of survival) of their "fellow servants".
"(For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly ... who mind earthly (secular) things.)"
Once again briefly said:
"... whose God is their belly ..."
As you've just read, we can sin through excessive eating and drinking (Celebrating and partying) before the Lord. Information on this topic you will find in the already mentioned cleartext point 100.
Jesus does not want us to "demonise" eating and celebrating, but he tells us, that we should practice personal renunciation in order to help the needy.
Please read on the topic of renunciation the cleartext point 092.
I would also like to recommend you the cleartext point 149. Its title:
Should Christians refrain from everything - and only "mope" ?)
Therefore, be always a faithful servant of the Lord by using the gifts
with which the Lord blessed you, also for the benefit of men in the third world to live a dignified life. Do not just think selfishly about your full belly, but share "your bread" with those who would starve without you.
By doing this, you will be blessed by the Lord !
"He that hath a bountiful eye shall be blessed; for he giveth of his bread to the poor."
Please also read the cleartext point 154. Its title: Who gets God's blessing ?
(Apropos selfishly: Please also read the cleartext point 207 with the extremely provoking title: Are we parasites ? - Do we live at the expense of others ?
Ten hard accusations - are you free of any guilt ?)
Back to the issue: Do it now - and not later.
A secular old saying goes:
"Procrastination is the thief of time."
(or: "Never put off till tomorrow what you can do today.")
The wise king Solomon put it this way:
"Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest."
(Preacher Solomon 9/10)
In other words:
"After death, you can 't do anything more - then it is forever too late !"
In God's word, the bible, we are being motivated.
"... Deal courageously, and the LORD shall be with the good."
(2 Chronicles 19/11)
We can also read the following warning:
"... desolation shall come upon thee suddenly, which thou shalt not know (faster than you can possibly imagine)."
"For he will not lay upon man more than right; that he (or she) should enter into judgment with God."
Therefore, use the time: "Redeeming the time ..."
If you really mean it with your reversal, then the Lord
will open the door to his kingdom for you.
Jesus Christ says:
"... behold, I have set before thee an open door ..."
And he promises you:
" ... him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out."
"Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened."
Jesus Christ is ready to welcome you - to accept you.
But then he demands a departure from the sinful life of you.
However, very many people fail. They do want the eternal life in paradise, but they are not ready to change their lives one hundred percent - as the Lord requires.
They don´t want to give up their comfortable and convenient life.
Jesus Christ explains in the parable of the foolish virgins, however,
that he is capable of slamming the door to paradise right your face.
"Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. ("Open the door for us !") But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not."
A very "smart one" once told me:
"I'm gonna` do it like the criminal on the cross next to Jesus and repent my sins on the death bed. That way I get to live a life of ease - and must refrain from nothing. In the last moment, I regret everything and Jesus forgives me my sins. "
I must honestly admit, that I once have secretly thought about it too. But does it work ?
God and Jesus are not fooled. They look into the heart of the people and see where their objectives. If anyone has invented such a plan, then it is easy for the Lord to thwart it. He can, for example, deprive this sinner of his life by an accident, all of a sudden.
Or this man faces memory problems, that he is longer able to think.
Would he then still be possible to regret any sins ?
Never forget the warning:
"Be not deceived; God is not mocked (God will no be laughed about):
for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap."
"For they have sown the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind ..."
If people try to fool God, then tey cannot expect
his mercy and compassion.
"For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth (in the future) no more sacrifice for sins (Jesus sacrifice on the Cross does not count), but a certain fearful looking for of judgment (In which Jesus Christ a just - will be tough as a judge) and fiery indignation (hell), which shall devour the adversaries."
(Please also read the cleartext point 165 on the subject: "Deliberate sin".)
You see, to God and Jesus one can only get on a straight way.
"As for such as turn aside unto their crooked ways, the LORD shall lead them forth with the workers of iniquity ..."
Who transgresses God's laws (thus doesn´t comply to one hundred percent), is a transgressor. He (or she) will also be destroyed and eradicated on the last day -
and not get eternal life in God's kingdom.
"And the destruction of the transgressors and of the sinners shall be together, and they that forsake the LORD shall be consumed."
"But the transgressors (which transgress God´s laws) shall be destroyed together ..."
The preachers of the half-truths (see cleartext point 106) promise their "flock", that the Lord is merciful and compassionate to all sinners. But they conceal, that those sinners are meant, which turn from their sins and strive with all their heart to implement, what the Lord demands.
Please read in cleartext point 137, what the conditions are that
God predetermines, so he is merciful and compassionate.
Don´t just procrastinate your good intentions day by day.
Always remember: It could be "five minutes to twelve".
"... for the day of their calamity is at hand, and the things that shall come upon them make haste."
That it ain´t yet happened, that Jesus Christ comes back to earth, has the following reason:
"The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, (the announcement that Jesus Christ will return to earth) as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance."
(2 Peter 3/9)
"And I gave her space to repent ..."
Use the time that the Lord still gives you to fully convert to him
and really regret what you have done wrong in your life so far, from the bottom of your heart -
thus, what is a sin in the eyes of the Lord.
(In cleartext point 009 you'll find information on the issue: Doing penance.)
Jesus Christ urges us, saying:
"I must work the works of him that sent me (we have to do, what God demanded), while it is day (as long as it is possible for us): (because) the night cometh, when no man can work."
The Lord has ordained you too to spread his word (see great commission - cleartext point 030). By supporting the Google advertising "AdWords" for my homepage, you fulfil
the order. (Detailed information at the end of this cleartext point.)
Don´t procrastinate the mandate of the Lord, not knowing
whether you have enough time.
Always remember Jesus' warning: "... the night cometh, when no man can work."
Many things can happen in the meantime - and suddenly,
it is too late to implement the intentions into practice.
Please read the cleartext point 020. Its title:
Just to intend to do something is not enough !
Worth to know is also the following:
Don't let anyone tell you, that he (or she) knows the day (the date),
when the Lord will return to earth, because this date only God knows.
The fact that only God knows, when the Last Day will be -
the day Jesus returns to earth, you can now read for yourself:
Jesus followers wanted to know when Jesus comes back to earth,
thus when the last day will be.
Jesus Christ spoke to them:
"... It is not for you to know the times or the seasons ..."
Jesus himself said:
"But of that day and hour knoweth no man (the date is unknown), no, not the angels of heaven, but my (divine) Father only (only God knows, when this day will be)."
(Matthew 24/36 and Markus 13/32)
What is important to know:
You only got the "today" - the "present".
Whether you are able to do something tomorrow, you don't know.
So use the "today" - the "present".
It is written:
"... To day if ye will hear his voice, (then) harden not your hearts ..."
God speaks "today" by verses from scripture to you on this homepage. He wants to give you this important pieces of information "now" -
so you put them into practice - or do you think,
that you are here by chance ?
Please bear in mind: Waiting means to be in terms and be contended to be cast into eternal damnation on the last day, because tomorrow it could already be too late.
Everyone - you too - is only one breath, a heartbeat or an accident away from eternity !
Never forget Jesus´ warning as well:
"Watch therefore (be alert), for ye know neither the day nor the hour ..."
Who goes as real Christan through life, however, doesn´t need to be afraid of it.
In cleartext point 001 you find out, how you are guaranteed to be saved and get eternal life in God's kingdom.
I repeat it all again in full awareness to make it very clear to you:
There are two possibilities, which can touch you (and also me).
Either you die, before the Lord Jesus Christ returns to earth, which can occur at any time, all of a sudden without warning (for example, by an accident) - or you're experiencing this day (the Last Day) before your death here on earth.
With both options there is a huge problem:
You can´t change anything from this moment on !
Until this happens everything in your life, which has to do with sin has to be cleansed. Therefore the Lord Jesus died on the cross,
so that you don´t have to be frightened of your death - respectively about the return of Jesus Christ.
Please read more about it in the cleartext point 006.
But out of gratitude, you need to be willing to restructure your life and live accordingly to God´s and Jesus´ demands.
If you are revolting against it, you dismiss the warnings of God and Jesus Christ. In this case do not expect any assistance from them, if death strikes you or if the last day suddenly is upon us.
"And thou mourn at the last (later - at death), when thy flesh and thy body are consumed (when it comes to dying), And say (you are going to blame yourself), How have I hated instruction (the education of God), and my heart despised (rejected) reproof; And have not obeyed the voice of my teachers (those who tried to tell you the full and uncomfortable truth about God's word), nor (I) inclined mine ear to them that instructed me (It's bad that I have not listened to them) !"
(Proverbs 5/11 -13)
You will then have the same fate as Peter:
"And Peter remembered the word of Jesus, which said unto him (in advance) ... and wept bitterly."
(Matthew 26/75 and Luke 22/61-62 and Mark 14 /72)
However, Peter didn´t experience this after his death
and could, therefore, change his life in the manner
Jesus Christ has demonstrated - and as God ordains.
But if you only realise after your death (at the resurrection),
that God and Jesus explained you something else than what you did -
it will be too late to change something !
God and Jesus don´t accept excuses !
Nevertheless, we humans search and find excuses:
"I had no time ..."
"I didn't know that ..."
But all the excuses, no matter which, will not be accepted !
"... and say, We be utterly spoiled: ... how hath he removed it from me! ..."
"Therefore thou shalt have none that shall cast a cord by lot in the congregation of the LORD."
But the people don´t want to hear such uncomfortable warnings.
They don´t believe it. Instead, they say:
"Prophesy ye not ... that they shall not take shame."
"If a man walking in the spirit and falsehood do lie, saying, I will prophesy unto thee of wine and of strong drink; he shall even be the prophet of this people."
It is useful and beneficial, if the Lord tells you during your lifetime:
"... thy way is perverse before me."
Bad it will be, if he told you on the last day:
"... thy way is perverse before me."
Because then you couldn´t change a thing !
So take the advice of the Lord !
Now I would like to you a cause for thought:
The title of the cleartext point 151 is:
Role reversal: Put yourself in God's situation ...
This you could do now.
You slip theoretically into the role of Jesus Christ and then as the Lord, you would give a welcoming speech, to welcome the person to paradise you impersonate in reality at the last day.
In other words: You write a welcoming speech for yourself.
What could it contain ?
Would the following words apply to you already ?
If not, change it - that means: Change yourself.
(For a man it would logically not read "fellow sister" and not "she" -
but "fellow brother" and "he".)
"I welcome cordially our fellow sister to eternity - in paradise.
She has helped many people in need on earth with her untiring efforts. In order to achieve this, she often practised personal renunciation and will be now compensated a hundredfold here in paradise.
She had planned her daily routine, so she had always enough time to search her bible in order to know, what our heavenly father and I expect from her.
With all her heart she tried every day, to put our words into action.
She didn't do it, because she "had to" - but always voluntarily, full of
enthusiasm and deep gratitude, because I sacrificed my life on the cross under indescribable suffering, also for her.
Gratitude was her motivation and drive, always to obey my words
and to do exactly what I have ordained.
Her goal in life was to be accepted in our kingdom on the last day.
She did not want to drift past the goal sluggishly - and thereby be lost.
As a real Christian, she served me. She lived as a disciple and spread my word honestly, courageously and full of enthusiasm - as I expect it of all Christians.
She always walked attentively through life, in order to recognise
how she could adjust her behaviour to my word and not to miss any opportunity, which required her help.
Whenever she made any accidental mistakes, she then regretted it by honest penance -
and tried wholeheartedly not to make the same mistakes again.
Wilfully she did not sin but fought against Satan´s seductive arts.
Whenever she was hurt or insulted by other people, she forgave them their misconducts.
Feisty and with great patience she endured all the tests,
we imposed upon her - no matter how hard they were.
Never she doubted - but walked persistently forward step by step -
and that's why I welcome her cordially here in paradise."
By the way: Not the right choice of words or the perfect expression is important, but the content - single key points would suffice.
When you write the welcoming speech (concerning yourself), stay with the truth. Don´t exaggerate because it shouldn´t be a fine sounding speech, but an honest inventory of what is already right in your behaviour - and what still needs improvement.
Don´t be too reserved though because of your modesty.
Through this task (by writing such a speech) you will recognise:
How does God experience you - how does Jesus experience you ?
It shouldn´t be a eulogy (funeral speech), where the deceased are generally declared literal heroes and almost error-free people.
This is used so the family keeps the deceased in good memory.
Furthermore, no speaker wants to hurt the mourners with the unvarnished truth.
Jesus Christ though, will not mince matters on the Last Day,
but he will speak clear text - and not conceal a thing.
He will judge us accordingly to our lives - without palliating.
There is a proverb: A fault confessed is half redressed.
Modified it says: Self-awareness is the way to improve oneself.
In cleartext point 135 you will learn, that without insight and realisation it is not possible to enter God´s kingdom.
I would like to recommend you also the cleartext point 122.
Its title: Test yourself !
In cleartext point 129 you find the laws God gave us.
They serve as a useful "railing", so we don´t stray from the path.
If you discover a lot in yourself, which is already right, then
please don´t be boastful, but stay modest and humble.
We should not exalt ourselves - Jesus says so.
This welcoming speech is mere to serve for the realisation of your remaining weaknesses and to then work intensively on their disposal.
Nobody should ever read this self-prepared speech. Therefore destroy it, as soon as you have given an intense thought about its content. This is not an occupational therapy, but necessary for self-recognition.
You will then set one or another goal for yourself and try hard to achieve it.
You improve hereby your behaviour so that the Lord has more pleasure in you in the future.
So, set a goal (pledge to the Lord to do this) - and fulfil your pledges then.
"... perform thy vows ..."
Please read on the topic of vows the already mentioned cleartext point 020.
We humans need to be aware of the following:
If for example, someone has failed in school and therefore has no school leaving certificate, then this is very regrettable - but the one can, if necessary, achieve it through Second Chance Education. By this, it is possible to "correct" all, that went bad the first time.
But if we failed with faith and the reaper comes knocking at the door, there is no possibility to change anything - or reverse something.
The issue "faith" should therefore not be taken lightly. It is an important and serious issue. After all, your future depends on it.
The future, which is not reversible afterwards.
It is your future - and indeed for eternity.
Therefore think hard, where you want to pass your eternity - or have to.
Always remember that there are only two options: Heaven or Hell.
That sounds like primitive fear mongering - but it is not - it is the reality.
My advice: Don´t intend to do something in the future, but take care of it rather immediately - thus today, because you never know, whether the Lord has provided a tomorrow for you.
Always remember the children's song "Good evening, good night", in which it says:
"Tomorrow morning, so God will, you will wake up once again."
Marianne Rosenberg chanted in the 1970´s about a man, which always put off everything until a later date.
"Later, he used to tell me always.
Later ... he wants to give something to the poor.
Later, he wanted to forgive ... (other people).
Many want to do this - but they don´t do it today.
In the song it says:
"Later - when is that I asked him, he just smiled and said: "later"."
The end of the song:
"Now I have read it in the newspaper (as a death notice) -
later, that was yesterday for him -
later, that was too late."
Let it not come that far !
In an obituary, you can be presented better than you were, because
paper is patient - but before the Lord can you not present yourself better than you have actually lived.
There only your deeds and actions count - and not your dreams and intentions, as well not what you had planned for the future.
In the new testament we can read in revelation:
"And I (John - was allowed to look into the future and) saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire."
We are not warned in vain, that we ought to excel ourselves as Christians by deeds and actions. Without action and deeds, we are merely passive name Christians who will be dismissed on the last day.
(Read about the topic name Christians the cleartext point 098.)
"But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves."
The preachers of the half-truths (see cleartext point 106) appease their "sheeple" by telling them there is no danger in living passively.
But this is all lies. Do not believe them !
Every man - even you - is only one breath, a heart attack or an accident away from eternity !
"For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord (the last day - or your personal death day) so cometh as a thief in the night (without previous announcement). For when they (the announcers of half-truths) shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child (suddenly); they shall not escape."
(1 Thessalonians 5/2-3)
Not only the preachers of the half-truths will be rejected, but also the many people who have loved to listen to their lies, because they didn´t demand personal renunciation.
Sometimes the readers write to me, that all this scares them.
But I can 't change it - it's the whole truth, the reality.
A secular old saying goes:
"Fear, but no improvement."
This applies as well to the readers, which don´t want to read
the cleartext information out of fear of the truth.
The issue of God fear (see cleartext point 025) they suppress.
Rather they read or listen to words of lie preachers, which are "music to their ears".
But thereby they can´t be shaken up, in order to change their behaviour.
The rude awakening will occur on the Last Day - but then it's too late !
Always remember the words of warning from the bible:
"And thou mourn (later - when dying) at the last, when thy flesh and thy body are consumed (when it comes to dying), And say (you will then reproach yourself), How have I hated instruction (the education of God), and my heart despised (rejected) reproof; And have not obeyed the voice of my teachers (meaning, who wanted to explain the full and uncomfortable truth about God's Word), nor inclined mine ear to them that instructed me (Bad I did not listen to them and did not believe them.) !"
The following important warning we find in God's word. Relate these phrases to your own life ! Don't ask, of whom those scriptural quotes talk because it isn't important.
They're meant for you - they shall shake you up !
Therefore read them, as if God is speaking to you personally - because that is what he wants after all !
Now the warning:
"... the God in whose hand thy breath is, and whose are all thy ways, hast thou not glorified:"
In cleartext point 041 you get to know, how you can honour and serve God.
Much was more important to you: friends, holidays, food, drink, parties, cinema, computer, car ... But your deeds and actions for God were by comparison like flyweights. They didn´t carry much weight - did they ?
Imagine, Jesus Christ would measure (weigh) all good deeds of your life. What would be the outcome ?
Would your good deeds "weigh excessively" ?
Or would the following bible quote be accurate ?
"... Thou art weighed in the balances, and art found wanting."
Thereupon follows in the bible the sentence, which, of course, should teach us God fear:
"In that night was ... (he) ... slain."
Read about God fear the aforementioned cleartext point 025.
Always think about the warning of Jesus Christ:
"Watch (be alert) therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come."
We don´t know the schedule of death. That is why we need to live every day as if it would be the last day of our life - or the day on which Jesus Christ returns to earth and assesses the living and the dead as a judge.
To live every day as if it would be the last - that doesn't mean
to "whoop it up today", because tomorrow we're dead -
but it means: To prepare yourself to step before the Lord.
It could be, that you are dealing with the question:
"What happens if someone sinned - and a second later dies
by an accident or heart attack ?"
"What if Jesus were to return at the very moment I had done something wrong - thus, I sinned? - Am I lost then, because I can no longer repent it ?"
If you are troubled by such questions, I would advise you to read
cleartext point 178, where you find the answer.
Jesus Christ has sacrificed his life (for you and for me) under indescribable torments on the cross, so our sins can be forgiven.
But what do we sacrifice for him - what do you sacrifice for him ?
Jesus Christ speaks to you from the cross:
"This is what I did for you !
What are you doing for me ?"
Get also started to be active for the Lord.
"But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves."
Please help as well to spread his word.
A bit below you´ll find a link. If you click on it, you find out how it is possible, to help in a very efficient way spreading the words of God and Jesus Christ in an honest and simple manner.
Jesus gave all Christians (you as well) the mandate to spread his word. It is even an order - the great commission.
(Related information you find within the already mentioned Klartext-Punkt 030.)
Question: Are you abiding the great commission ?
One day ...
... you won´t find an excuse, why you didn't do it !
We Christians do not need to be afraid, that we bring sacrifices in vain. Jesus says to those who want to implement all the laws of God into action (who thus "sacrifice" time and money by renunciation), that they will be compensated a hundredfold on the Last Day at the latest.
"... shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life."
Jesus promises us:
"For the Son of man (Jesus Christ) shall come ...
and then he shall reward every man according to his works (his deeds)."
And God says:
"... and I will recompense them according to their deeds (like they deserve, it shall be), and according to the works of their own hands (as their actions were)."
"Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord ..."
"And let us not be weary (persevere and not give up)
in well doing (as much and whenever possible):
for in due season (at the latest on Judgement Day)
we shall reap (we will be rewarded),
if we faint not (if we don't fall back to inertia and passivity).
As we have therefore opportunity (up to our life´s end on this earth),
let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith."
God surely rewards us, as we deserve it. If we do good things,
then we can expect also good things as a "reward".
"I the LORD ... give every man (on the last day) according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings."
In cleartext point 118 can you read in detail, according to which standards Jesus Christ will announce his verdict on the Last Day.
Many people don´t or think little, regarding the Last Judgement.
They act as the man from the following joke:
He jumps without parachute from the roof of a skyscraper -
and enjoys the free fall. As he passes a window cleaner, who works on the 25th floor and freezes in shock, the falling man shouts to him:
"Don´t worry about me - so far all went well !"
Similarly, many people think. They are saying to themselves:
"Last Judgement - what rubbish - God loves the sinners -
so far all went well - God would have punished me already otherwise."
In God´s word it is written:
"... for thine eyes are open upon all the ways of the sons of men:
to give every one according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings:"
We can´t conceal sins before the Lord -
but he sees also our good deeds.
I know perfectly well that one doesn´t get to heaven only through good actions - (but by the death on the cross of Jesus) - but I am also aware (because it is clearly stated in the bible), that without good deeds (thus, due to passivity) the way into heaven remains blocked !
There won´t also be a measuring of good deeds against the bad ones,
in order to be allowed to heaven in case of a majority of good actions.
Through good deeds, you can´t "earn" the kingdom of heaven -
but through your passivity, you can easily lose it !
Please read within the above-mentioned cleartext point 001, how you will be saved guaranteed on judgement day and will enter God´s kingdom.
In God´s word it says as well:
"Be ye strong therefore, and let not your hands be weak
(persevere with your good works for the Lord and don´t become passive or inert): for your work shall be rewarded ( at the latest on the last day in God´s kingdom)."
(2 Chronicles 15/7)
"For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love,
which ye have shewed toward his name ..."
"Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord (become always more active with the implementation of the word of God into deed), forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord."
(1 Corinthians 15/58)
"Then shall ye return (on the Last Day), and discern ...
between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not."
Please read within the above-mentioned cleartext point 030, that it is also your task to spread the words of God and Jesus Christ. Here, by this homepage, you can you do it and prove the Lord that you're a real Christian.
If you also want to help financially (so the Internet ads for this homepage can be paid), then send me an email please (address on the top edge of the screen).
More information about what happens with the money happens you get by clicking the following link.
Most likely you will hear a voice in the inside, which says quite gently:
"Don´t give any of your money ! Don´t help to spread God´s word !"
Whether Jesus or the holy spirit talks you into believing this ?
No - Satan tries to prevent you from doing it.
Will you obey him ?
If you want to help with a donation to spread God´s word - you´ll find info here.
We Christians - you too - received the order from our Lord Jesus
to make his words known to other people - and to explain them,
what god and Jesus expect from us, humans. It is even an order of Jesus - the so-called great commission (please read therefore also the cleartext point 030).
A lways remember the warning of Jesus Christ.
"He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad."
(Matthew 12/30 and Lukas 11/23).
Who does not "collect" people for the eternal kingdom by spreading God´s word is against Jesus Christ - because he (or she) "scatters".
This is fully within accordance of Satan - you have to be very aware of this !
Do you (by your passivity) want to serve Satan (without really wanting it) ?
In the bible, we are very often exhorted and prompted to be perpetrators of the divine word.
(Read related to this please also the cleartext points 010, 012 and 016.)
Through our actions and deeds, we can show the Lord (thus prove), that we love and worship him.
In cleartext point 023 you experience, that the Lord observes and tests us during our earthly life.
Who doesn´t worship God can´t expect much on Judgement Day -
or rather: Nothing at all.
This we can look up in the following statement:
"Then shall ye return (on the Last Day), and discern ...
between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not."
On the Last Day, it is too late - there's nothing you can change or make up for ! No one knows when and how suddenly his (or her) personal end comes.
Therefore my advice:
Put nothing "into cold storage" but become a doer of God's word -
otherwise, you deceive yourself, by thinking that you may enter God´s kingdom on the Last Day - but then have to learn, that you are not welcomed there because through your passivity you have served Satan.
"But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves."
Do everything to prove the Lord, that you have real faith -
and not only a dead faith.
"For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also."
"Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone."
But something dead is completely worthless !
Clear text is spoken here (or rather written) - exactly as the name
of the homepage already announces: "Jesus-in-Cleartext" ("Jesus-im-Klartext").
Please don´t consider these tough words a threat -
this is, after all, the pure and unvarnished truth.
Only the full truth leads you into God's kingdom.
"... the truth shall make you free."
In cleartext point 064 you will see how from felt compulsion becomes
voluntarism, just by rethinking. The title of this cleartext point is:
How does a "You have to ...!" become - a voluntary: "I want ..." - ?
(By clicking the middle link you get there.)
In cleartext point 041 you learn everything, what it means to "serve God".
